About 100billionprobiotic.com
This site exists to put probiotic numbers in plain view: what a CFU count means, what doses studies used, and what a label does and does not tell you. Updated Oct 8, 2026.
Published by Physician's Choice, which makes the products discussed on this site.
Our approach
- Numbers first
- Every answer opens with the figure you came for, then explains it. A CFU count is shown with the date it is counted to and the source it came from.
- Sources named
- Ranges come from the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements and other government health sites; study doses come from the study or from the document that lists them, such as the Physician's Choice strain dossier. Each one is linked where it is used.
- No product rankings
- Comparisons put label entries side by side and stop there. There is no score, no winner column and no "top pick".
- Who is behind it
- The Physician's Choice editorial team writes the pages. Physician's Choice makes 60 Billion Probiotic and 100 Billion Probiotic, and every page says so. Company details are at physicianschoice.com.
What we do not do
- State a label number that is in question. If a label has conflicting entries, the number stays off the site until Physician's Choice confirms it.
- Present a figure from the strain dossier as if it were printed on the bottle.
- Tell you which product to take, or stand in for a doctor.
- Publish ratings, reviews, testimonials or prices.
- Use public posts as endorsements. We quote them only to show the question, copied exactly and without usernames.
Corrections
Spotted a wrong number? Send the page address and the figure to Physician's Choice through its contact page. We check it against the label or the source, correct it if it is wrong, and add the date of the change to that page's log.
Questions about your own health are for your doctor, not for this site.
